Dear Parents,
I hope everyone had a great Spring Break! It has been fun to see the classrooms back in action and full of fun projects and exciting new learning taking place.
There are a few fun things happening this month I want to make sure everyone is aware of. The first item is our Celebration of Art night on April 16 from 6:30 to 7:30. This is a night for parents to come and take a look at all the amazing art projects the classes are currently working on. Each class has chosen either an artist or a style of art to learn about. We would love to have families join us for the night as we celebrate the importance of art.
Over the next couple of week, the PreK classes will be taking a field trip to visit their Kindergarten Pen Pals at Touchstone Elementary. The Spanish and PreK 2 class will be going over on Wednesday, April 8 and the PreK 1 class will have their adventure on Wednesday, April 15. Please look for a permission slip on your child’s classroom door so they may attend. Both field trips will leave the school at 9:30am and will be back by 11:00am.
School pictures have arrived. Please send back the check for the pictures or the remaining pictures back to school by Tuesday, April 7. Thank you.
On April 8, the Touchstone TPO is holding a fundraiser at California Pizza Kitchen at Bridgeport. Come join other families for dinner and support the school. We are raising money for new playground equipment and toys to enjoy this spring and summer. You may also purchase gift cards through the front desk.
I am happy to announce Summer Camp information is now available! Registration and information packets are available on the parent file cabinet. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
