Happy October everyone!
Fall Cubby Refresh
Our teachers have many fun outdoor activities planned for our students this month. Please check your child’s cubby and ensure that their extra clothes are weather appropriate, so that your child can participate in everything planned for their class. We also encourage you to leave a set of rain boots and a rain coat at the school, so they are always prepared.
Your Opinion Matters!
Our parent survey is launching this month and we’d appreciate you spending a few minutes to take the survey. You will receive an invitation by email on 10/2. Please let us know if you do not receive it!
Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Each classroom will be decorating their own pumpkins starting the week of the 14th. They will be displayed for voting in the lobby the week of the 21st. The classroom with the most votes will earn a sorbet party!
Halloween Parties
Each classroom will have their own individual party. We will be decorating spooky cookies! Children are welcome to come wearing their costumes, so long as they are safe to be played in. We do encourage you to bring a set of clothes to change into for lunch time to avoid any stained costumes! Parents are welcome to join in on the cookie decorating; check in with your classroom teacher to find out what time your child’s class will be having their party.
Charleston Wrap Fundraiser
Our school is currently fundraising by selling Charleston Wrap! There are not only quality wrapping products, but also personalized items, home décor, and kitchen goods. Our goal is to raise $500 to be used towards classroom supplies!
Pumpkin Patch Trips
Our annual trip to the Plumper Pumpkin Patch will be the 16th for PreK classes and the 17th for Intermediates. Permission slips are due back to the school by the 11th. We will also have an onsite pumpkin patch in the garden for the infants through beginner classrooms that same week.
Principal’s Conference
I will be out of the office for the week of the 21st for our annual principal’s conference. My assistant principal, Courtney Selin, will be available to help in my absence. Karen will be available to help with any billing questions, as well. I will do my best to return any emails in a timely fashion.
Fall Picture Day
Fall pictures will be held the 8-10. Schedules are posted on the classroom doors, so you can find out which day your child will have theirs done.
