Dear Touchstone Families,
We had a successful Earth Day by releasing ladybugs and planting flowers in the Touchstone Garden. Many of our students were even featured on the news! It is fun to see the students outside enjoying the spring weather and learning about the outdoors.
Coming up in March we have our Muffins with Mothers on Friday, May 10. All mothers (or other important person in your child’s life) is invited to come and enjoy this celebration for Mother’s Day. Each classroom will have treats and an activity. Please see below for the times for each classroom:

Summer Camp forms are still available at the front desk for Intermediate, PreK, and PreK 2 families. We are asking that all forms be filled out and returned no later than May 31 so we can plan accordingly. This year’s Summer Camp theme is “Connect to Summer.” We have many special guests and fun events planned. For any questions, please see a member of the Admin Team.
Conferences will be held on Friday, May 24. This is a great time for you to sit down with your child’s teacher to celebrate the successes of this year and set goals for next school year. Sign Up sheets will be on your child’s classroom door beginning next week. As a reminder, there is no school this day so that teachers and parents can connect.
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10. We are looking forward to celebrating the wonderful teaching staff we have here at Touchstone School. This year, our theme for Teacher Appreciation is “Rising UP to the Occasion.” Students and staff are invited to celebrate that week by dressing up each day. Please see the chart below for each day’s theme. We will have cards available for you to write a note to your child’s teacher as well.
