Dear Touchstone Families,
Thank you to all the families who have re-registered for the 2019/2020 school year! There were several families who took advantage of the Priority Registration last month and we look forward to having you all continue your enrollment here at Touchstone School next year. At this time, we are opening enrollment to outside families on a first come-first served basis. If you have not yet re-registered, it is not too late to do so. Please see an Admin team member and they would happy to assist in making sure your child is registered.
I also want to thank everyone for their patience as we navigated the inclement weather at the later part of last month. While delaying or closing school is never our first choice, we appreciate everyone’s understanding as we work together to keep everyone safe. Hopefully we can start to look forward to cheerier spring weather.
Coming up this month we will having a Crazy Sock Day on Friday, March 15. This will be a fun day for students to show some school spirit along with learning some new dances! While this event is optional, it is highly encouraged!
Spring Break Camp will be from March 25-29. For our Intermediate and PreK students, registration paperwork is available at the front desk. If you child will attending, we ask that all registration materials be turned in no later than Friday, March 15 so we have time to staff accordingly. This year’s theme is Hiding in the Garden and we have several hands-on spring time activities planned for the students including bench building, planting, and bug exploration.
Many of you have already taken the opportunity to express your thoughts about Touchstone School on our feedback survey that is currently taking place. You should have received an email invitation to take part in this survey. If you have not, please see a member of the Admin Team and we will be happy to help. We thank you for taking the time to express your opinions about Touchstone School so we can work at being the best and make sure we are serving our families to the best of our abilities. Your feedback is important. Each year we come up with an improvement plan based on these comments.
Thank you,
Gordon Kingsley Bass; Principal
