March 2019 News
Dear Touchstone Families,
We start this month off with our second and final picture day of the school year on March 1st. The photographers can photograph non-regularly scheduled students at 8:30 if you so choose. All students at school will have their pictures taken but purchasing is optional.
On Monday, March 4th we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday! We encourage all students to dress up in red or white, or as their favorite Dr. Seuss character! On March 15th we encourage everyone to wear green for an early St. Patrick’s Day dress up! Keep on the lookout for tricks left by our mischievous Touchstone leprechaun!
Spring Break is later this month from March 25-29th. As a reminder there is no school that week. We do offer a camp but space is limited and enrollment forms or any changes are due by March 1st after this date no enrollments or changes can be made.
Please welcome Ms. Jackie to the Touchstone family! Jackie is joining our teaching staff as our float/Spanish teacher. You will be seeing her around the school and in our aftercare program. Ms. Jackie graduated from Western Oregon with her degree in education and we are excited to have her join us. Please introduce yourself and say hello!
As a reminder, we ask that you please check your parent folders located in the filing cabinet in the lobby daily. We place important information about upcoming events, bills, and communication from teachers in these folders. This helps us keep in contact with you and serves as an important form of communication.
Thank you,
Elise West; Principal
