Dear Touchstone Families,
On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to wish each of you a new year filled with peace, good health, and happiness. I hope all of you were able to take time to relax over Winter Break and took time to enjoy company with family and friends. We are excited to have the students back in the classrooms and moving forward on their educational journeys.
It is hard to believe, but we are already starting to think about next school year. I will be placing priority registration paperwork in your parent files soon. As a current family, we like to give you the opportunity to reserve a spot for the 2018-2019 school year before allowing additional families to join our community. We may not have finalized pricing for the next school year at this time so it will be subject to change. Priority Registration runs until January 25th. On January 26th at our Open House, we will begin accepting applications from families in the community and registration will be first come, first served. If you have any questions about the process please let us know.
On January 24th we will be having Dad’s Night at our school starting at 6:00pm and ending by 7:00pm. This is a wonderful evening where Dads or an important person in your child’s life can come spend the evening doing a fun activity in their classroom with their teachers and enjoy a small treat and possibly a game or story. We hope to see you there!
The weather in January keeps us on our toes. If we need to close for inclement weather an email will be sent out and we will change our schools voicemail with a message stating our delay or closure. If we should need to close early and email will go out along with an emergency text. Please help us by keeping an eye on the weather reports and planning ahead. Also, please make sure to send your child with appropriate winter apparel (coat, hat, gloves, etc.). Check your child’s cubby and insure there are at least two changes of weather appropriate clothing. We want to make sure your children are comfortable while at school and playing outside.
Thank you,
Gordon Kingsley; Principal
