Dear Touchstone Parents,
We will be kicking off May with two different celebrations; Teacher Appreciation Week and Mother’s Day. This all happens the week of May 7-11th. The teachers truly make Touchstone the wonderful school that it is for all of our students. I would like to thank each of the teachers and staff for their hard work and dedication to the students and families. This year you will find “Thank You Card” flower pots each with a teachers or staff name on it. Feel free to drop off a special thank you, card or gift-card in their flower pots during the week! If you would like to celebrate their hard work in your own way, you are welcome to do so, but not required.
Our Mother’s Day Celebration is on Thursday, May 10, from 6-7pm in your child’s classroom. Each class is planning their own special way to celebrate their moms or other important person in their life. We hope you can make this wonderful event!
Parent/Teacher conferences will be held during the day on Friday, May 25. During this time, you will have a chance to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss successes from the year and set up goals for next year. Please look for a sign-up sheet on the classroom doors as we get closer to the conference date. There will be no school or camp on conference day.
Thank you,
Gordon Kingsley; Principal
