Dear Touchstone Families,
I want to start off by thanking everyone for their patience as we navigated the inclement weather in February. Safety is our top priority for each member of the Touchstone Community and I appreciate your understanding. We can hopefully look forward to better weather as we enter the spring season!
Spring Break is just around the corner. Registration for our Intermediate and PreK students has begun. This year our theme is Hiding in the Garden and students will be learning about bugs, plants, and nature. They will also be assisting in building our school garden we will be installing! This is a great opportunity for students to get outside and get dirty, all while learning about nature. Registration forms are available at the front desk and are due no later than Friday, March 16.
In your Parent File you will find information about our SuperFan fundraiser that is currently taking place. This is a great way to stock up on gear from your favorite sports team all while helping out our school. Orders can be placed online or brought in to the school. All orders are due Monday, March 12.
I am pleased to announce that Touchstone School is growing again. We are getting ready to open our second Infant Classroom in April. With the opening of new classrooms comes the addition of new students, families, and staff. Wonderful things happen each and every day in our classrooms and I am happy to be growing so we can welcome more families and make even more wonderful experiences come to life. As new staff join and introduce themselves, I encourage you to get to know them!
Earlier in the year many of you provided feedback from our annual survey our company sends out. This is a great opportunity for us to grow as a school and make sure we are meeting the needs of our families. Later this month you will be receiving a letter that will celebrate our successes and address how we will be taking care of areas of concern. I want to thank you for those who took the time to participate.
Thank you,
Gordon Kingsley; Principal
