Dear Touchstone Families,
On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to wish each of you a new year filled with peace, good health, and happiness. I hope all of you were able to take time to relax over Winter Break and took time to enjoy company with family and friends. We are excited to have the students back in the classrooms and moving forward on their educational journeys.
I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we navigated the inclement weather that helped ring in the New Year. Closing and/or delaying the school is something we take very seriously. Our primary objective is to keep everyone safe when these situations arise. In an effort to provide clear and open communication, please remember you can find any information on closures and delays on our website, by calling the school and listening to the voice messaging machine, and by checking your email for any updates. All of the communications will be updated no later than 6:00am on the day of the event.
It is hard to believe, but we are already starting to think about next school year. I have placed Priority Registration paperwork in your parent files. As a current family, we like to give you the opportunity to reserve a spot for the 2017-2018 school year before allowing additional families to join our community. Priority Registration runs until January 20. On January 21, at our Open House, we will begin accepting applications from families in the community. If you have any questions about the process or placement for your child, please let us know.
Thank you,
Gordon Kingsley, Principal
