Dear Parents and Families,
We are back in full swing after the holidays and the classrooms are full of students learning, playing, and having fun! As we enter February there are several things happening this month that I know will be of interest to you all.
Teacher Kirsten has organized our annual Helping Hearts program. This program is designed to help families and students focus on positive ways we all help out in the community. Hearts have been sent home for parents, students, and siblings to catch one another helping out. Each member of our school community helps in their own special way, and this program is designed to highlight all the wonderful acts of kindness taking place. Check out the Helping Hands board in the hallway and see all the ways everyone is helping!
This month we are also going to be giving back to our community by participating in “Pennies for Patients” campaign to raise money for young children with leukemia. Beginning the second week of February, we will be collecting spare change.
Enrollment for current families has begun. Please look for paperwork in your Parent File. We like to give current families an opportunity secure their spot for next school year before we open it up to the general public come March. If you have any further questions, or need help deciding which class is the right fit for your child next year, please do not hesitate to ask.
Sincerely,
Gordon Kingsley, Principal
